SLAVIA CAPITAL has been active since 1995. During its early days, the group was profiled as a stockbroker, but soon became a major institution providing the opportunity to invest in securities, with interest income on the international markets. Since 1998, SLAVIA CAPITAL has held a dominant position as a provider of advisory services for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), particularly in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Since 2005, SLAVIA CAPITAL has expanded its horizons to include Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Poland and Romania. Throughout this period, the group has also begun to mainly focus on private equity investments.

SLAVIA CAPITAL has built a model based on sector platform management. The model is based on the effective allocation of resources in proportion to activity, which has resulted in a significant reduction of operating costs, a commitment to effective project management, development and use of sector knowledge, and a better understanding of the development potential and specifics of each sector.

Since 2009, SLAVIA CAPITAL has begun to focus on the intermediary holding of assets. This change in strategy has resulted in a change from private equity to intermediary holding. Ukraine, Croatia and Hungary have also added themselves to the list of countries, where SLAVIA CAPITAL holding actively trades.
